Cotonou, Benin – Inflation across the eight-member West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) is expected to ease to 2.0% in May, down from 2.2% in March, as global food prices moderate and domestic harvests boost supplies, the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) reported.
