Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – In a historic step toward peace, members of the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) have started relocating to designated camps, marking the first tangible progress in implementing the peace agreement signed on December 1, 2024. The accord, brokered between the Oromia Regional Government and the OLA leadership, seeks to end six years of conflict that have destabilised the Oromia region and left communities grappling with insecurity and loss.
