Bank of Tanzania takes equity stake in Africa Finance Corporation

DODOMA, TANZANIA – Tanzania’s central bank has taken an equity stake in the Africa Finance Corporation, reinforcing African-led infrastructure financing and boosting investor confidence.

The Bank of Tanzania’s (BoT) move makes it a shareholder in the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), widening the institution’s sovereign ownership base and strengthening its capital pool.
