Lagos, Nigeria – Nigerian consumers are growing less pessimistic about the economy, with confidence inching higher in January as inflation shows signs of nearing its peak. The latest Consumer Expectations Survey from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) reflects a shift in sentiment, with the index rising to -23.5 from -31.1 in December.
