Kenya to Begin Deregistering Firms Hiding Beneficial Owners

  • Non-compliant firms face deregistration after November 30 deadline
  • Move aims to boost transparency and fight corruption in business practices

 Nairobi, Kenya – Starting next month, Kenya will begin deregistering firms that have not submitted details of their beneficial owners, following the end of the grace period during which companies were required to comply with this regulation.
