Yaoundé, Cameroon – Maurice Kamto has revived Cameroon’s political contest with a clear declaration: he will run for president in 2025. Speaking to a large diaspora crowd in Paris, the leader of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) dismissed doubts over his eligibility, calling legal objections “fallacious” and insisting he is prepared to serve.
