NAIROBI, KENYA – President William Ruto strengthened his 2027 re-election bid after his ruling party won four seats in fiercely fought by-elections across Kenya.
Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission declared the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) winner in the Mbeere North, Banisa and Malava parliamentary contests, as well as the Baringo senatorial race, following the November 27 polls.
