TUNIS, TUNISIA – Tunisia’s annual inflation rate edged up to 5% in February, driven largely by rising food prices despite easing pressure in several other sectors of the consumer basket.

The latest figures released Thursday by the country’s National Institute of Statistics (INS) showed inflation increased slightly from 4.8% in January, marking the highest level since September 2025.
