Nairobi, Kenya – Kenya’s Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has halted pay rises that were set to take effect on July 1 for State officials, including Members of Parliament, Cabinet Secretaries, and governors. This decision comes amid public pressure for the government to control recurrent spending.
