According to authorities, an individual was apprehended after allegedly trying to bribe soldiers to stage a coup d’état, using 5 billion CFA francs ($10 million USD) to fund the destabilization attempt. The confiscated funds have since been transferred to the public treasury, with the identity of the suspect still undisclosed as investigations continue.
