KIGALI, RWANDA – Rwanda’s inflation rose to 7.2% in November, up from 7.1% in October, as higher food, energy and service costs eroded household purchasing power.
The increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) comes as parts of the country, particularly the eastern province, grapple with severe hunger, according to the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).
