KIGALI, RWANDA – Rwanda’s mining sector is drawing fierce investor interest after authorities confirmed at least 73 applications for 10 newly unveiled mining blocks.

The Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board (RMB) said successful bidders have already secured several blocks, including Nduba, Rweru-Kimvubu, Juru, Mamfu-Rwasama, Remera, Rugarama and Rweru.
