Oman’s Trade Surplus Reaches RO 4.3 Billion by July 2024, Boosted by Hydrocarbon Exports

  • Oman’s merchandise exports rise 7.6% in 2024, driven by hydrocarbon sales
  • Imports also increase by 11.7%, with the UAE leading non-oil trade transactions

Oman’s trade balance recorded a surplus of RO 4.3 billion ($11.17 billion) by the end of July 2024, nearly matching the surplus achieved in the same period of 2023, according to a report from Oman’s National Centre for Statistics and Information.
