Lagos, Nigeria – The Nigerian government has granted permission to independent petroleum marketers to purchase petrol directly from the Dangote Refinery, ending the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited’s (NNPCL) exclusive off-taker role. This move aims to bring stability to the local fuel market, which has experienced volatility following NNPCL’s recent price increases.
