KINSHASA, CONGO – Ivanhoe Mines has set a production record in the DRC, strengthening its position in tight global copper and zinc markets as it ramps up on-site smelting.
Ivanhoe said output from its Kamoa-Kakula copper complex and Kipushi zinc mine reached record levels in 2025, confirming guidance despite difficult operating conditions. The company is targeting future production of 388,838 tonnes of copper at Kamoa-Kakula and 203,168 tonnes of zinc at Kipushi by the end of 2025.
