ARISE IIP and Afreximbank Lead $5 Billion Push for Africa’s Cotton Industry Revival

ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP), a leading developer of industrial parks across Africa, has joined forces with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and Rieter, a top supplier of yarn production systems, to spearhead a transformative $5 billion initiative for the continent’s cotton industry. The development plan, set to span three to five years, aims to establish a processing capacity of 500,000 metric tons of African cotton, with potential for future expansion, the partners announced in a statement on Wednesday.
