JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – Airlink has launched direct flights between Johannesburg and Nacala, adding air connectivity to Mozambique’s northern logistics hub as the country seeks to diversify trade, tourism and investment beyond its capital.

The new route, inaugurated on February 2 in Johannesburg, extends Southern Africa’s regional aviation network to Nacala, Mozambique’s third-largest harbour town and a strategic gateway for trade and industry in the country’s northern provinces.
