Luanda, Angola – Angola’s oil output, a critical driver of its economy, is expected to plateau at 1.173 million barrels per day this year, following a 3.6% rise to 1.170 million barrels per day in 2024, according to consultancy Oxford Economics. However, the government’s report underpinning the 2025 State Budget estimates a lower production figure of 1.098 million barrels per day for 2025, reflecting potential headwinds.
