IFC issues $16.6m bond in Rwanda to boost private sector growth

  • IFC lists 8-year corporate bond on Rwanda Stock Exchange at 10.5% annual coupon
  • Move expected to deepen Rwanda’s capital markets and finance private sector lending

 

KIGALI, RWANDA – The International Finance Corporation has issued an 8-year, $16.6 million corporate bond on the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE), offering a 10.5% annual coupon under its Pan-African Domestic Medium-Term Note Programme.
