The French mining company, Orano, is weighing its options after the military junta in Niger withdrew one of its uranium-mining licenses in the West African country.
While Orano reserves the right to mount a legal challenge to the decision, it is also willing to explore other options and will “keep all channels of communication open with the Niger authorities on this subject,” the company said in a statement.
