PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICASouth Africa has sent its first shipment of premium plums to China, marking a breakthrough in agricultural trade under a new zero-tariff agreement.

The consignment of 20,000 cartons, including the African Delight and Ruby Star varieties, represents South Africa’s first stone fruit shipment to the Chinese market and signals a significant expansion of its export footprint.
