Tunisia GDP growth accelerates to 2.7% in Q4 2025 as agriculture rebounds

  • Agriculture expands 12.3% in fourth quarter
  • Domestic demand offsets trade drag

 

TUNIS, TUNISIA – Tunisia’s economy gathered pace in the final quarter of 2025, buoyed by a strong agricultural rebound and resilient domestic spending, official data showed.

Gross Domestic Product expanded 2.7% year on year in the fourth quarter, according to preliminary figures released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS). On a quarterly basis, the economy grew 1.0% compared with the previous three months.
