ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIAEthiopian Airlines Group posted $4.4 billion in revenue in the first half of 2025/26, reinforcing its position as Africa’s largest carrier despite mounting global headwinds.

Chief executive Mesfin Tasew said revenue rose 14 percent from a year earlier and exceeded internal targets by two percent, driven by passenger growth, stronger cargo volumes and new route openings.
