  • New platform centralises WAEMU public securities trading
  • Aims to boost liquidity, transparency and regional integration

 

ABIDJAN, COTE D’IVOIRE – UMOA-Titres has launched UT Marché, a new electronic platform aimed at modernising and revitalising the secondary market for public securities across the WAEMU region.

The launch marks what regional officials and market analysts describe as a turning point for West African finance, as authorities seek to deepen capital markets, improve price discovery and attract a broader pool of investors to government debt.
