  • Angola launches global tender for strategic Namibe rail corridor concession
  • Project seen boosting trade, investment confidence and Eurobond sentiment

 

LUANDA, ANGOLAAngola has opened an international tender for the long-term concession of the Namibe Corridor, inviting global rail operators into one of Southern Africa’s most strategic logistics projects.

The government said interested companies or consortia have until 4 May 2026 to submit proposals for the railway corridor, a move aimed at deepening private investment in transport infrastructure and regional trade.
