Abuja, Nigeria – In a fresh blow to Nigeria’s retail sector, Shoprite Mall, the Nigerian franchise of the renowned South African brand, has announced it will shutter its branch in Wuse, a prime location in Abuja, by the end of June. This decision has also led to the termination of services from its suppliers, signalling broader economic strains within the region.
