DAKAR, SENEGAL – Fortuna Mining is nearing a pivotal permit decision in Senegal, where fresh gold discoveries could broaden its planned $397.5mn Diamba Sud project.
The Canadian miner said Senegal’s mining ministry declared its exploitation permit application admissible on November 2, while initial drilling at nearby Bambadji identified potentially significant gold mineralisation.
