ABUJA, NIGERIA – Africa’s richest businessman, Aliko Dangote, has unveiled plans to build a mega-refinery in East Africa, a move that could redraw the continent’s energy map.
Speaking in Nairobi at the Africa We Build Summit organised by the Africa Finance Corporation, Dangote said his group is ready to replicate the scale of its flagship refinery in Lagos — but only if governments provide the right support.
