Accra, Ghana – Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have refuted recent claims by Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, that a debt restructuring agreement has been reached between the government and the group of six IPPs, to whom the government owes approximately $1.4 billion as of March 2024.
