Ghana’s Economic Outlook: Modest Growth in 2024 with Stronger Rebound Expected

Accra, Ghana – Ghana’s economy is expected to grow by 2.9 percent in 2024, but a strong rebound is anticipated in the following years, according to the latest Global Economic Prospects report from the World Bank released Wednesday. The report forecasts Ghana’s GDP growth accelerating to 4.4 percent in 2025 and 4.9 percent in 2026.
