Ghana Seeks to Revitalize TEN Field Amidst Declining Oil Production

  • Ghana and Tullow Ghana Limited are developing a strategy to rejuvenate the Tweneboah-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) Field as it faces rapid depletion.
  • The redevelopment plan aims to unlock over 30 million barrels of net gas resources to ensure the field’s sustainability.

 

Ghana is taking proactive steps with petroleum sector partners to revitalize the Tweneboah-Enyenra-Ntomme (TEN) Field, which is experiencing significant depletion less than a decade after beginning production. Tullow Ghana Limited (TGL), which operates Ghana’s second major oil field, has formulated a redevelopment plan to unlock substantial gas resources and extend the field’s life.
