ACCRA, GHANA – Ghana’s crude oil lifting receipts fell sharply in the second half of 2025, nearly halving from a year earlier as fewer cargoes and weaker global prices squeezed state earnings.

Receipts from crude oil liftings declined to $198.25 million between July and December 2025, down from $369.25 million over the same period in 2024, according to the Bank of Ghana.
