Yaoundé, Cameroon – Calls are mounting for Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, Gabon’s transitional president and chairman of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions, to stand as a candidate in next year’s elections, which aim to return the central African state to civilian rule.
