Gabon has postponed a planned International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission originally set for mid-June, as the new government races to complete its own economic assessment before engaging formally with creditors and development partners. “The government has requested to postpone the mission to finalize a comprehensive diagnosis,” said Gomez Agou, the IMF’s resident representative in Libreville.
