Barrick Gold Corporation announced that its ongoing expansion of the Lumwana mine in Zambia is expected to double copper production to a life-of-mine average of 240 metric tonnes annually by 2028. The Toronto-based mining giant shared the update in an emailed statement, highlighting the project’s significance in boosting Zambia’s mining output.
