Lagos, Nigeria – Nigeria’s current account surplus surged to $17.22 billion in 2024, nearly triple the $6.42 billion recorded the previous year, according to a statement published Wednesday by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The figure marks a sharp rebound from $3.48 billion in 2022.
