Namibia’s GDP Growth Slows to 3.7% in 2024

Namibia’s economy grew by 3.7% in 2024, slowing from 4.4% the previous year, as contractions in the primary sector weighed on overall performance. Data released on Thursday by the Namibia Statistics Agency showed nominal GDP rose to 245.1 billion Namibian dollars ($13.46 billion), up from 228.9 billion Namibian dollars ($12.57 billion) in 2023 — an increase of 16.2 billion Namibian dollars or $890 million.
