Yaoundé, Cameroon – The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) has announced that an estimated $245 million is required to address the growing monkeypox (mpox) outbreak across the continent. However, less than 10% of this amount has been secured, according to Dr. Ngashi Ngongo, Africa CDC’s Chief of Staff and Head of Executive Office.
