ZANZIBAR CITY, TANZANIA – International tourist arrivals to Zanzibar rose 4.9% in February, highlighting resilience in the islands’ tourism sector despite a monthly decline after peak holiday travel.
Official data from the Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS) showed Zanzibar recorded 86,839 visitors in February 2026, up from 82,750 in the same month in 2025.
