  • Flexible contracts target global upstream investors

 

YAOUNDÉ, CAMEROONCameroon has opened nine oil and gas blocks to global investors under its 2025–26 licensing round, targeting fresh upstream capital in two established hydrocarbon basins.

The licensing round, managed by the National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH), was launched Aug. 1, 2025, with bids due by March 30, 2026. Final awards are expected in late April.
