NAIROBI, KENYAKenya’s security agencies are facing growing scrutiny after a violent church attack targeting former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, exposing deepening political and institutional fault lines.

More than a week after the January 25 attack in Othaya, Nyeri County, no arrests have been made, fuelling accusations of incompetence or a possible cover-up within the security apparatus.
