WINDHOEK, NAMIBIANamibia’s inflation slowed to 3.4% in December, offering short-term relief to households, but the central bank has lifted its 2026 outlook amid shifting global commodity dynamics.

Headline inflation eased from 3.5% in November and 3.6% in October, according to official data, extending a gentle downward trend toward the end of 2025. The moderation helped temper living costs in the short term, particularly as food and clothing prices softened toward year-end.
