ABUJA, NIGERIA – Nigeria’s inflation rate fell further in November, slipping below the government’s 2025 target as easing food prices extended a months-long disinflationary trend, official data showed.
Headline inflation slowed to 14.45% in November, down from 16.05% in October, Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Monday. It marked the ninth consecutive monthly decline since March, from a peak of 34.8% last December.
