Senegal markets 2.93m barrels of oil in November as Sangomar output stabilises

DAKAR, SENEGAL – Senegal has confirmed its arrival as an oil producer after marketing nearly 3 million barrels in November, signalling the stabilisation of offshore output.

Official figures show 2.93 mn barrels were sold in November 2025, equivalent to average daily production of about 97,000 barrels from the Sangomar field. The volumes follow record first exports earlier this year, marking Senegal’s transition from test shipments to regular operations.
