AD sources reveal that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has confirmed the disbursement of a $600 million tranche to Ghana. This significant financial aid, part of a $3 billion three-year rescue loan, is intended to help Ghana navigate its most severe economic crisis in recent history. An official IMF announcement is expected during a press conference at 7pm GMT.
