LUSAKA, ZAMBIAAtomic Eagle Limited has strengthened Zambia’s uranium credentials after drilling confirmed extensive shallow mineralisation at its Muntanga East target, lifting prospects for near-term resource growth.

The ASX-listed explorer said results from its first drilling campaign at Muntanga East in more than a decade outlined a broad, flat-lying mineralised system close to surface, supporting the project’s development potential. Standout intersections included 24.1 metres at 323 parts per million eU₃O₈ from 13.4 metres, alongside a higher-grade interval of 6.5 metres at 1,230 ppm from 10.6 metres.
