Volkswagen to Launch Ride-Hailing Service in Ghana as Regional Expansion Accelerates

Accra, Ghana – Volkswagen Group Africa is set to introduce its $2-per-ride smart mobility service in Ghana, expanding its digital transport model first piloted in Rwanda. The move, which Chairperson and Managing Director Martina Biene says will drive job creation and regional integration, marks a major step in Volkswagen’s long-term strategy to anchor itself more deeply across West Africa.
