KIGALI, RWANDA – Rwanda’s remittance inflows jumped 27% in 2025 to $639.84 million, highlighting the growing role of the country’s diaspora in supplying vital foreign currency to the economy.

The rise from $502.43 million in 2024 reflects a sustained increase in money transfers from Rwandans living abroad, driven by expanding diaspora communities and the rapid adoption of digital financial services.
