  • Annual inflation drops to 5.4%, lowest since 2021 CPI rebasing
  • Food and goods prices drive broad-based disinflation

 

ACCRA, GHANAGhana’s inflation rate eased further to 5.4% in December 2025, marking its lowest level since 2021 and extending a year-long disinflation streak, official data showed.

Figures released by the Ghana Statistical Service said the December outturn slowed sharply from 6.3% in November and from 23.8% in December 2024 – a decline of 18.4 percentage points over 12 months.
