Accra, Ghana – Ghana has inaugurated the $1.2 billion Bridge Power Project in Kpone, Greater Accra, as part of efforts to address its longstanding energy challenges. The state-of-the-art combined-cycle plant, commissioned by President Nana Akufo-Addo, is expected to increase the country’s thermal power generation capacity by 7%, providing a stable electricity supply for businesses and households.
